You are having both selves i.e the one who thinks and finds logical relations in everything and the other who always rebels against expectations and desires ( when they are not fulfilled ).
But the learning lies in the second one. The risk is also higher in it as you will not try to attach any logic in it and do with your own natural self. And this will lead to the great learning experience.
When thinking self comes into the picture , it really tries to confirm the things with the past experiences ( made of incidents , mishaps , happenings etc)... through this way person cant ever learn.. because you will not try to initiate new things... you just confirm the age old norms and situations.
